NFT Issuance Platforms, Marketplaces, and Financialization-focused Products

We are looking to support efforts within Neutron to build platforms to help developers seamlessly issue NFTs, build differentiated marketplaces on Neutron, and, especially interestingly, create various products that take the place of useful means to financialize NFTs across the Cosmos. NFTs have seen a good deal of success within the Cosmos. Still, we believe that Neutron could act as a value-add venue for certain types of NFT activity — especially types of activity that complement Neutron's existing decentralized finance stack. We are especially interested in products that allow users to trade popular NFTs on Neutron or other chains such as Stargaze via fractionalization or other means.

How Will This Core RFP Add Value To Neutron And The Interchain?

• The success of Bad Kids and other emerging NFTs within Cosmos has helped spread Cosmos' culture and attract new users, and  we believe that Neutron, as a chain, can help grow the entire Cosmos ecosystem.
• However, one issue has been the lack of baseline NFT infrastructure on Neutron which  allows users to launch their own NFTs as well as interact with marketplaces such as Stargaze
• We are looking to support several attempts to build out NFT-related infrastructure and applications on Neutron

What Are The Criteria For This Core RFP?

• The product should have a clear roadmap and there should be a clear path to an MVP and working product
• There must be a clear go-to-market strategy for the product
• Potential roadmap on how to expand the application’s functionality to leverage interchain NFTs and interact with Neutron's DeFi ecosystem
• Focus on mobile-first users is ideal, but not required

How Will The NGP Measure Progress For Submissions For This Core RFP?

• We will track metrics such as daily active users, TVL (depending on the structure of the application), volume associated with applicable NFT collections, and the extent to which the application drives bridging activity to Neutron
