Neutron Grants Program Batch #3 — Electron

Thesis

We have decided to award a $70,000 grant to the Hopers team to build Electron, a Neutron-native DEX, which we believe will help expand Neutron's existing DeFi community given the Hopers team's extensive experience building applications and communities within the Cosmos.

Summary

Electron DEX is a cutting-edge DeFi protocol and DEX designed to seamlessly integrate real-world assets with digital currencies. Developed by the Hopers (https://www.hopers.io/) team and built on Neutron, it provides a secure and transparent platform for trading both cryptocurrencies and physical assets in the future.

Grant Deliverables

The deliverables are as follows:

• Successfully deploying the Electron DEX on Neutron’s Mainnet
• Hitting the following KPIs: (1) Hitting $1.5M TVL which is sustained for at least a day; (2) Averaging $5M in trading volume on Electron over a week

For Milestone 1 completion, the criteria are as follows:

• Successfully deploying the Electron DEX on Neutron

For Milestone 2 completion, the criteria are as follows:

• (1) Hitting $1.5M TVL which is sustained for at least a day; (2) Averaging $5M in trading volume on Electron over a week

Grant Payment Terms

• Upfront Payment: $25,000 USDC
• Milestone 1 Payment: $25,000 USDC
• Milestone 2 Payment: $20,000 USDC
