Neutron Grants Program Batch #1 — DAO DAO

Thesis

As part of our first grant batch, we have decided to award a grant to DAO DAO to bring full Neutron governance support to the DAO DAO frontend. DAO DAO is the leading governance platform on Neutron and is already heavily used. We believe this grant will make it significantly easier for developers to launch their own token and NFT-based DAOs on Neutron and improve the user experience of interacting with governance in general.

Grant Deliverables

The deliverables are as follows:

The goal of this grant is to bring full Neutron governance support to the DAO DAO frontend.

• Voting Vaults:
• add support for viewing voting power
• add support for bonding/unbonding NTRN with real voting vaults
• add support for showing real and virtual voting vaults associated with a DAO and how much voting power they represent
• SubDAO Pauses:
• add SubDAO pause/unpause actions
• SubDAO Timelock/Overrule Flow:
• support displaying timelock status
• support creating overrule proposals by the main DAO Miscellaneous:
• modify indexer to support neutron contracts
• update neutron governance proposals to match N#0X naming scheme
• update various config actions to reflect removed fields (image_url, only_members_execute, etc.)
• Opfund:
• dedicated support for migration to DAO DAO member-based DAO
• treasury inflow and outflow visualizer Vesting:
• vesting cliffs Upon Neutron's upgrade to CosmWasm 1.2+
• NFT and Token Factory deploys ready to go
• Cross-chain (polytone) connections with the other DAO DAO-supported chains
• adding memo in transaction support for DAOs

For Milestone 1 completion, the criteria is as follows:

• Launch of all the deliverables to Mainnet

Grant Payment Terms

• Upfront Payment: 24,000 USDC
• Milestone 1 Payment: 24,000 USDC
