Neutron Grants Program Batch #1 — Calculated Finance

Thesis

As part of our first grant batch, we have decided to award a grant to Calculated Finance to launch their successful application on Neutron. We have granted them 28,000 USDC with an upfront payment of 7,200 USDC and two milestone payments (along with specific KPIs).

Calculated Finance is a product that has found success on other Cosmos chains, and we believe supporting them with their Neutron-based integration will provide users on the blockchain with significantly more options when it comes to interacting with DeFi — which should only help grow Neutron's burgeoning ecosystem.

Grant Deliverables

Integration and Launch of the Calc Finance application on Neutron:

Implement the swapper contract on top of Astroport
Swapper Contract Audit
Integrate Astroport with the front-end
Extend off-chain automation to handle Neutron strategies
Testing
Communication of the launch

For Milestone 1 completion, the criteria are as follows:

Full launch of the Calculated Finance application on Neutron's mainnet

For Milestone 2 completion, the criteria are as follows:Calculated Finance must hit the following KPIs

500 unique users on the Neutron implementation of Calculated Finance
Facilitate over 1,000,000 swaps via Astroport
Facilitate over $1,000,000 worth of swaps via Astroport
Over 500 strategies created on Calculated Finance

Grant Payment Terms

Upfront Payment: 7,200 USDC
Milestone 1 Payment: 16,800 USDC
Milestone 2 Payment: 4,000 USDC (1,000 USDC per KPI)
