Neutron Grants Program Batch #2 — Astromint

Thesis

We have decided to award a 95,000 USDC grant to Astromint to launch their decentralized stablecoin on Neutron's Mainnet. Astromint is a unique take on launching a decentralized stablecoin for the Cosmos, and we are excited to continue to work closely with them as they get closer to launch.

Grant Deliverables

The deliverables are as follows:

• Whitepaper re-write outlining new liquidation mechanism and overall architecture of Astromint. Subject to the NGP's approval of the rewritten whitepaper
• Astromint's testnet deployment and finalization of their contracts' audits
• Launch the Astromint stablecoin protocol on Neutron Mainnet
• Integration with at least one app on Neutron that ensures the utility of USA and astroAssets

For Milestone 1 completion, the criteria are as follows:

• Whitepaper re-write outlining new liquidation mechanism and overall architecture of Astromint. Subject to the NGP's approval of the rewritten whitepaper

For Milestone 2 completion, the criteria are as follows:

• Testnet completion and audits finalized

For Milestone 3 completion, the criteria are as follows:

• Mainnet launch of Astromint

For Milestone 4 completion, the criteria are as follows:

• Integrating stATOM as a whitelisted asset
• Hitting a $5M circulating supply of Astromint's stablecoin (USA)
• integration with at least one app on Neutron that ensures the utility of USA and astroAssets

Grant Payment Terms

• Upfront Payment: 10,000 USDC
• Milestone 1 Payment: 10,000 USDC
• Milestone 2 Payment: 20,000 USDC
• Milestone 3 Payment: 30,000 USDC
• Milestone 4 Payment: 25,000 USDC
